The Partnership is run almost entirely by the voluntary contributions of the Executive Committee, the Operations Committee, and the Standing Committees. However the Partnership maintains one staff position, the Program Coordinator.
The Program Coordinator will manage the daily operations of the Partnership, lead strategic initiatives, serve on all Standing Committees as a non-voting ex-officio member, convene the Operations and Executive Committees, and attend meetings as an ex-officio member. The Program Coordinator will coordinate meetings, events, and communication.
Current Program Coordinator
Laura Aydelotte is the Program Coordinator for the Shared Print Partnership. Laura comes to the SPP from a background as a project manager leading work at the intersection of special collections, digital work, and data management at libraries including the Newberry Library, Princeton, and the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Chicago and an MLIS from UIUC. Laura brings both digital expertise and an understanding of the long history of material books and archives to supporting the work of the SPP in tackling challenges managing big data, providing improved access to millions of books across the US and Canada, and influencing the shape of both the present and the future of physical library collections.
