The Joint Rosemont-Partnership Task Force for Future Strategic Consolidation was formed in 2022 and charged by the Rosemont Alliance and Partnership Executive Committees to evaluate and recommend a course of action vis à vis a proposed merger of the Rosemont Shared Print Alliance and Partnership for Shared Book Collections. The task force was charged to create decision-making criteria for what success looked like in order to evaluate the following scenarios and make recommendations to the organizations’ leadership:

  • Status quo (i.e. separate organizations that collaborate in specific areas)
  • Merger to create a consolidated organization

The work of this task force resulted in recommendations presented in 2023 that led to the formation of the Merger Implementation Taskforce.
