The Matching Algorithms project was conducted from 2022-2025 with the aim to investigate bibliographic matching algorithms (original charge) – a critical foundation for building and leveraging shared collections.
This study addressed the unique set of problems that multipart monographs present for Shared Print. Cataloging rules and practices allow these resources to be cataloged at the serial/series level or the individual monographic level, but this means that tracking retentions of these materials can be challenging.
This ongoing, multi-year. project provides an array of resources for shared print practice.
