The Shared Print Partnership (SPP) is a federation of monograph and serial shared print programs across the United States and Canada. Each of our members is itself a shared print organization representing regional or specialized shared print activities across multiple libraries. The SPP provides a professional community across these organizations, promoting guidelines for best practices, fostering discussion across regional and institutional boundaries, and creating innovation in library work.
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to advance the sustainability, accessibility, and preservation of shared print collections and infrastructure through collective action, collaboration, and advocacy, ensuring enduring access and preservation of critical research materials for the global academic community.
We envision a resilient, interconnected partnership dedicated to the enduring stewardship and accessibility of shared print resources, enhancing scholarly research and collaboration at scale.
